CAMPFIRES: Campfires are allowed only if they are contained within a ring of stones, flames are never more than 12 inches high, they are never left unattended and are fully out at midnight. If you forgot the makings of S’mores, we have them in our store. For those of you who enjoy singing, try a-capella.
SPORTS EQUIPMENT: Bowdish Lake has lots of opportunity for your favorite sport or just good exercise, on loan at the office. Ask to borrow bats & balls, basketballs, volleyballs, kick balls, horseshoes, stilts, hoops, Frisbees, etc. Ask for maps of the miles of hiking trails in the State Forest that surrounds us. A good place to start is a walk around Wilbur Pond. (Or browse our lending library!)

- 11 pm – ALL QUIET ON SITES. Let our Fishermen get a good night’s sleep. Our Season-Long Fish Contest begins. Bring your catch to the office to be weighed and photographed and entered in the contest. Trophy and Cash Prize awarded on Labor Day.
- 12 Midnight – ALL CAMPFIRES FULLY EXTINGUISHED

- 10 am – 5 pm – BEACH OPEN (weather permitting) Swim only when and where Lifeguard is on Duty. There are State Laws for your safety. If you have a boat, launch it at the boat launch just west of Beach 2. There is no parking at the boat launch. Please park your vehicles and boat trailers in our field. Thank-you!
- 10 am – STICK HORSE RACES with prizes at Safari Field! Followed by Leap-Frog, Wheel-barrow, relays, hoops, stilts and Parachute. (weather permitting) All Ages
- 1 – 2:30 pm – RED CRAFT HOUSE OPEN. Crafts available at reasonable prices, finishing materials are free. All Ages. Children under age 7 must be with an adult.
- 3 pm – LON CEREL — MAGIC SHOW & ANIMAL BALLOONS for All Youngsters – Safari Rec Hall. A Great Show for All Ages.
- 5 pm – CHILDRENS’ HAY WAGON RIDES – Pick-up and drop-off at Safari Field. Parents, do not allow your child to ride unless you are certain he/she will remain seated. Parents are invited to ride.
- 7:30 pm – FREE PRIZE BINGO – It being Spring, Prizes will be plants to brighten your campsite or residence. All Ages. Safari Rec Hall. Tobey will try to give you the good time Gail was known for over many years.
- 7 – 10 pm – BEACH REC HALL OPEN – Come and Enjoy a Movie & Popcorn. Disney movie suitable for All Ages.
- 11 pm – ALL QUIET ON SITES – Remember, no Golf Carts out on our roads after 12 midnight
- 12 Midnight – ALL CAMPFIRES FULLY EXTINGUISHED!
