10 AM – 5 PM — BEACH OPEN(weather permitting) Swim only when & where Lifeguard is on Duty. There are State Laws for your safety. If you have a boat, launch it at the launch area west of Beach 2. There is no parking at the launch area. We must keep the area clear for emergency vehicles. Return your boat trailer to your site after launch. Thank you.
Fishermen: Bring your catch to the office to be weighed, photographed and entered in our season-long Contest. Prize & Trophy awarded on Labor Day Weekend.
7 – 10 PM — BEACH REC HALL OPEN – Games & Snack Bar
11 pm – ALL QUIET ON SITES – Let our fishermen get a good nights sleep.
12 Midnight – ALL CAMPFIRES FULLY EXTINGUISHED!
CAMPFIRES: Campfires are allowed only if they are contained within a ring of stones, flames are never more than 12 inches high, they are never left unattended and are fully out at midnight. This fire regulation must be strictly adhered to in order to protect our environment, If you forgot the makings of S’mores, we have them in our store. For those of you who enjoy singing, try a-capella.
SPORTS EQUIPMENT: Bowdish Lake has lots of opportunity for your favorite sport or just good exercise, on loan at the office. Ask to borrow bats & balls, basketballs, volleyballs, kick balls, horseshoes, stilts, hoops, Frisbees, etc. Ask for maps of the miles of hiking trails in the State Forest that surrounds us. A good place to start is a walk around Wilbur Pond. (Or browse our lending library!) GOLFERS, check out our new practice net in Safari Field. Also, check out the LABRYNTH in Safari Field near the golf practice net.

HERB-WALK-TALK with JENN
Learn more about the plants that grow in our camp and their medicinal uses.
Meet at OFFICE.
All Ages Welcome.
11 AM – 12:30 PM — THE RED CRAFT HOUSE OPEN
Projects for all ages at reasonable prices.
Finishing materials are free. Children under age 7 must be with an adult. Thank you.
2 PM — SPECIAL EVENT – FLOWER PRESSINGS with JENN
For a Fee of $15.00, Jenn will provide a press, all materials and instructions for you to Become Proficient at Flower Pressing. (Additional family members may purchase Materials only for $5.00)
SAFARI REC HALL – All Welcome to Observe.
5 PM — CHILDRENS’ HAY WAGON RIDES
Pick-up and drop-off at Safari Field. Parents, do not allow your child to ride unless you are certain he/she will remain seated. Parents are invited to ride.
7 to 10 PM — BEACH REC HALL OPEN — GAMES & SNACK BAR
Please, no standing or sitting on any of the games. If balls get ‘stuck’ ask person on Duty for help. Thank You.
DUSK: SPECIAL EVENT IN SAFARI FIELD: A GAME OF MANHUNT (Flashlight Tag)
followed by FREE MOVIE & FREE COTTON CANDY — For All Ages.
11 pm – ALL QUIET ON SITES – Remember, no Golf Carts out on our roads after 12 midnight
12 Midnight – ALL CAMPFIRES FULLY EXTINGUISHED! It is a VERY important fire safety regulation!
