Hello,
We are looking for a water site August 21-28. Do you have any available? If so which site?
Hello Danielle,
If you also need a sewer hookup, then Blue 64 or Blue 65 is waterfront with sewer. If you don’t need sewer (we have pumpout service twice a week) then Blue 23, 24, 25, 50 and 51 are also available. Thanks!
looking for info on next year….whats your seasonal price and what areas of the campground would they be located
Hi Kelly, Seasonal pricing varies according to the site. Size of site, whether it has a sewer hook-up, whether it is on the waterfront have a bearing on the price. Seasonal sites are available throughout the campground. You might like to stop by the campground and have a look around to see what site suits you and then we can give you an exact price for the season.
My husband and I are looking into coming up this weekend with our camper. We’d probably come up Saturday morning and stay most of Sunday. We know that we’d have to pay for 2 days, that’s fine. Are there any sites available with a good lake view. We’ll also have our dog. He’s an American Eskimo, are they allowed there? If so, are there areas that dogs are secluded from? We’d like to walk him on trails and the beach if we could. Are there any special leash rules? Are there receptacles for when we clean up after his business? Thank You
Thank you.
Hi Dolores, We look forward to seeing you! You can walk your dog, he must be on a leash at all times and is not allowed on the beach swimming area (Board of Health rule). There are dumpsters in several places around the campground for “doggie business” and we thank you in advance for picking it up! There are long dirt roads throughout the campground and hiking trails to walk. And yes, there are some waterfront spaces available.
Are the blue areas considered waterfont? Sorry just don’t see quide lol
Waterfront sites are on the shore of the lake or pond. Some blue area sites are waterfront, some yellow sites are waterfront and some brown sites are waterfront. There are also blue, yellow and brown area sites that are not waterfront.
Looking to come up for 4 or 5 days in May, I have a 32′ camping trailer with slide out, will need Electric and water. Is there any availability and how much a day? Thanks Jeff
Thinking of making reservations. What colors sits are full hook up. Are there different prices for different color sites? Is it possible to book 2 or 3 sites near each other ??
Hi Mark, the colors on the maps are to identify different areas of the campground. They do not necessarily indicate the type of site. All of our sites have water and electricity, most are 30 amp, some are 50 amp and some are 20 amp. There are also a limited number of sites that have sewer. We do have places where you can get 2 or 3 sites next to each other.
Hi Jeff, all sites have water and electricity. Most of them are 30 amp. Camping fees can be found here http://www.bowdishlake.com/camp/bowdish-lake-campground/camping-fees-bowdish-lake/
I am looking onto coming in for next weekend Friday night through Sunday are any tent sites going to be available?
What is the largest event you can handle at the camp ground? Do you have a hall and kitchen. What would be the fees to rent them?
I am looking into a waterfront site this year 2019 I own a class C 30ft
I camped here as a child for at least 5 years. My great aunt had a site with a camper. She passed away a few years ago and I’ve been thinking about going back to enjoy the nostalgia. Would there be any way for me to rent the exact site if it were available? Also, if I’m not one hundred percent sure…would there be a way for you or another worker to help me out?
Do you know if the campground will be able to open on time.,with what’s going on with the Coronavirus? Such a great place to be away from everyone…
Can I set up a tent on one of your sessional sites, for the season? Thank’s Jack.
the seasonal sites, can the camper stay year round or do I have to remove it?
If you have a campsite, you can store your camper, for a fee, on the site for the winter or in Safari Field. You may not camp after the campground closes for the winter.
Because of the nature of the campground and being in the “snow belt” we have to shut down all electrical power and shut off the water and drain all tanks and blow out the water lines.
We are not accepting any tents for the 2021 season, and do not ever allow seasonal camping in a tent.
Are there any seasonal sites available for the 2023 season? If so, how can I select a site and book?
Please contact us at the end of May and we might have a site available then. We are quite full at this time.
My wife and I want to go camping for the first time and we will bring a tent, we would like to go on weekdays. When will they be open in 2024. We can choose to enter on Tuesday and leave on Wednesday. We will only bring a tent, you can tell me if i should book now or I just show up at the park.
When would the park be open?.
Thank you very much for you attention and I look forward to response.
Hi, I was wondering if you have any seasonal campsites available for a 30 ft camper? I would appreciate if you could get back to me ASAP. Thank you
Hello looking to see if you have any seasonal sites available for 2024? Thank you
We are sorry that we are unable to accommodate any tent camping. We are only accepting seasonal camping with a self-contained RV.
The campground is not yet open for the 2024 season. You may email camping@bowdishlake.com for information.
