THEY ARE DANGEROUS – WE WANT TO AVOID ANY ACCIDENT.  INSTEAD, ASK AT THE OFFICE FOR TIMES OF PROFESSIONAL FIREWORKS DISPLAYS IN OUR TOWN & IN SURROUNDING TOWNS.  Thank you!  Have a Happy, Safe Fourth!!!

10 a.m. – 5 p.m. BEACH Open – Please swim only when and where Lifeguard is on Duty.  There are State Laws for your safety.  If you have a boat, launch it at the Boat Launch just west of Beach 2.  There is no parking at the Boat Launch.  Park your boat trailer in our field or return it to your site.  We must keep roads clear for emergencies.

 7-10 p.m. BEACH REC HALL Open – Games & Snacks – All Ages

8 p.m. DANCE PARTY with D-J GARY MARANOLA– At the Red Pavilion, with Campers BON FIRE. (weather permitting)

11 p.m. All Quiet on Sites Please, no unnecessary walking about camp after 11. Our fishermen and children need their sleep. Thank you!

12 Midnight – All Campfires Fully Extinguished

Campfires are allowed only if they are contained within a ring of stones; Flames are never more than 12 inches high; They are never left unattended; & Are fully extinguished by midnight.

 

 

Thursday, July 4  INDEPENDENCE DAY

 

10 a.m. – 5 p.m. BEACH OPEN

10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. BEACH REC HALL Open – Games & Snacks – All Ages

Noon – 2 p.m. RED CRAFT HOUSE Open– Crafts for all ages at reasonable prices. Finishing materials are free. Under age 7 must be with an adult. DECORATE YOUR BIKE FOR THE PARADE.

2:30 p.m. DECORATED BICYCLE PARADE – Safari Field – Prizes for all entrants.

2:45 p.m. HOOP SPINNING TO EARN A HOT FUDGE SUNDAE – If you do not have a ticket for a Sundae and want to earn one, show us you can Spin a Hoop 15 turns to receive a Free Ticket. All Ages Welcome.

3 p.m. ICE CREAM SOCIAL – Safari Field – HOT FUDGE SUNDAES – $1.50 – Purchase tickets ahead at the office.  Only 100 will be sold!

4 p.m. GLOCESTER TOWN PARADE – 5 miles east on Rte 44 at center of Chepachet.  A fun time for all !!.

7:30 p.m. SUPER 4TH PRIZE BINGO – Safari Rec Hall – Great Fun for All Ages!

11 p.m. All Quiet on Sites Please, no unnecessary walking about camp after 11. It is disquieting to those wishing to sleep.

12 Midnight – ALL CAMPFIRES FULLY EXTINGUISHED.

 

BATS & BALLS, FRISBEES, BASKETBALLS, HOOPS, STILTS, HORSESHOES, PING PONG PADDLES, PUZZLES, ETC. ON LOAN AT OFFICE. A deposit may be required to assure return. Ask for hiking trail maps. And Browse our Free Lending Library for something to read.

Sign up at the office for our FATHER’S DAY BREAKFAST: Juice, Coffee, Milk, Sausages & ALL THE PANCAKES YOU CAN EAT, blueberry or plain.  Adults & Children over 12 – $3.00,   Children 6 to 12 – $2.00,   FATHERS ARE FREE.  Please do not wait until the last minute, we need to know numbers for ordering supplies.  Thank you!

10 a.m.  SANDLOT SOFTBALL – Safari Field.  All ball players welcome.

10 a.m.  HERBAL-WALK-TALK – Search for and learn about medicinal herbs.  Walk starts at the Red Craft House – All ages welcome.

1 – 2:30 p.m. RED CRAFT HOUSE Open – Crafts for all ages at reasonable prices.  Finishing materials are free.  Under age 6 must be with an adult.  Thank you.

3:30 p.m. FIELD RACES – Safari Field – Relays, Wheelbarrow, Leap-frog, Bags, Stilts, etc., – All Ages  – Ribbons Awarded!

5 p.m. CHILDREN’S HAY WAGON RIDES – Pick up and drop off at Safari Field.  Parents:  Do not allow your child to ride unless you are certain he/she will remain seated. Parents are invited to ride.  No Charge.

5 p.m.  VOLLEY BALL – At the Court in the Blue Area – Ages 13 and up Welcome!
