All Weekend – throughout the campground – “THE HEART OF BOWDISH” – Join in the fun in this new twist on the rock game! 100 gold rocks will be hidden throughout the park – find one for a chance of winning a candy prize! (Game designed and prizes donated anonymously.)

Swim only when and where Lifeguard is on duty. There are State Laws for your safety. Please NEVER park in any campsite, especially near the Beach. Thank You!
10 am – 5 pm MEET WILBUR THE TURTLE
Beach 2 – Have fun jumping on our new giant turtle! Wilbur only visits while the Lifeguard is on duty – PLEASE obey all safety rules and weight limits at the Lifeguard’s direction!!
11am – 1pm RED CRAFT HOUSE OPEN
Projects at reasonable prices for all ages. Children under age 7 must be accompanied by an adult.
1:30 pm – DECORATED GOLF CART PARADE AND CONTEST
Parade of decorated golf carts through the campground begins at the Red Craft House at 1:30 pm, ending at Safari Field, where prizes for “Best Decorated”, “Most Creative,” and “Most Patriotic” will be awarded.
2:00 pm (after the golf cart parade) – SLIP N’SLIDE KICKBALL
Safari Field – A great variation on traditional kickball where the bases are pools! Wear your bathing suit and plenty of sunscreen! All ages.
4:00 pm – THE 93RD ANNUAL ANCIENTS AND HORRIBLES FOURTH OF JULY PARADE
Downtown Chepachet – Bring your chair.
7 – 10:30 pm BEACH REC HALL OPEN

BATS, BALLS, BASKETBALLS, FRISBEES, HOOPS, STILTS, HOCKEY STICKS, ETC., on loan at the office. Ask for Hiking Trail Maps & peruse our Lending Library. Fishermen – bring your catch to the office to be weighed, photographed with you and entered into our season-long contest. Trophy & Cash Prize – Labor Day Weekend.

Succulent pig from our Master Roaster Kevin Carpenter, plus baked beans, coleslaw, Aunt Norma’s Lancaster County corn casserole, applesauce, and dessert. Tickets must be purchased at the office in advance: $15 for adults, $10 for ages 10 and under. Tickets are limited!!
7 pm – SADDLE UP THE CHICKEN!! – Safari Field
