10 AM to 5 PM — BEACH OPEN (weather permitting) Swim only when & where Lifeguard is on Duty. There are State Laws for your safety. If you have a boat, launch it at the launch area west of Beach 2. There is no parking at the launch area. We must keep it clear for emergencies. Take your boat trailer back to your site while using your boat. Thank you.
7 to 10 PM — BEACH REC HALL OPEN — GAMES & SNACK BAR
Please, no standing or sitting on any of the games. If balls get ‘stuck’ ask person on Duty for help. Thank You.
11 pm – ALL QUIET ON SITES – Please, no unnecessary walking about camp after eleven. Let our fishermen get a good nights sleep.
12 Midnight – ALL CAMPFIRES FULLY EXTINGUISHED!
CAMPFIRES: Campfires are allowed only if they are contained within a ring of stones, flames are never more than 12 inches high, they are never left unattended and are FULLY EXTINGUISHED AT MIDNIGHT. This fire regulation must be strictly adhered to in order to protect our environment,
If you forgot the makings of S’mores, we have them in our store. For those of you who enjoy singing, try a-capella.
SPORTS EQUIPMENT: Bowdish Lake has lots of opportunity for your favorite sport or just good exercise, on loan at the office. Ask to borrow bats & balls, basketballs, volleyballs, kick balls, horseshoes, stilts, hoops, Frisbees, etc. Ask for maps of the miles of hiking trails in the State Forest that surrounds us. A good place to start is a walk around Wilbur Pond. (Or browse our lending library!)

7 AM — GOLFERS LEAVE CAMP FOR BROOKLYN COUNTRY CLUB (For information on Golf Tournament, ask at office) T-Shirt and Steak Dinner.

10 AM – MEETING OF THE BOWDISH LAKE BOOK GROUP
At Site Yellow 43 – Discussion of IN THE LIKELY EVENT by Judy Blume. and to select next month’s book. All readers welcome.
10:30 – NOON — THE RED CRAFT HOUSE
Projects for all ages at reasonable prices.
Finishing materials are free. Children under age 7 must be with an adult. Thank you.
3 PM — SLIP N SLIDE KICKBALL – In Safari Field
Come prepared to get wet i.e. wear your bathing suit. Parents, bring your chair and your camera. Best for age 6 and up.
4 PM — ICE CREAM SOCIAL – Hot Fudge Sundaes – $2.00
Purchase tickets ahead at the Office. Only 100 will be sold. SAFARI REC HALL.
5 PM — CHILDRENS’ HAY WAGON RIDES
Pick-up and drop-off at Safari Field. Parents, do not allow your child to ride unless you are certain he/she will remain seated. Parents are invited to ride.
7 PM — SPECIAL EVENT – NIGHT OF THE GYPSIES
SAFARI REC HALL – THE SILVER MOON GYPSIES will entertain & engage you in group and individual dances, with audience participation.
Fun for All Ages to Watch or to Participate in.

8 PM (DUSK) — FREE MOVIE & FREE POPCORN – AT THE BEACH REC HALL
Suitable for all ages. Bring your chair (and your bug spray!).
11 pm – ALL QUIET ON SITES – Remember, no Golf Carts out on our roads after 12 midnight
12 Midnight – ALL CAMPFIRES FULLY EXTINGUISHED! It is a VERY important fire safety regulation!
