WELCOME TO OUR 46TH SEASON OF CAMPING – Remember to stop at the Office each Friday for a Program of our Sports and Crafts and Games, Entertainment & Special Events.
CAMPFIRES: Campfires are allowed only if they are contained within a ring of stones, flames are never more than 12 inches high, they are never left unattended and are fully out at midnight. This very important fire regulation must be strictly adhered to in order to protect our environment.
FISHERMEN: Our Season-Long Fishing Contest begins May 26. Remember to bring your catch to the office to be weighed, photographed and entered. Trophy and Cash Prize ($10.00/pound) awarded on Labor Day 2018. Fish must be caught in Bowdish Lake.

10 AM – 5 PM — BEACH OPEN(weather permitting) Swim only when & where Lifeguard is on Duty. There are State Laws for your safety. Remember – there is NO PARKING at the Beaches. And never park in an empty site. At Beach 1, cars may be parked behind the Beach Rec Hall. Be careful to allow an easy exit.
9 PM — FLASHLIGHT TAG – Safari Field. Bring your flashlight, if you have one, Or flashlights will be provided. Best for ages 7 and up.
11 pm – ALL QUIET ON SITES – Please, no unnecessary walking about camp after 11. Our fishermen need their sleep. Remember, no Golf Carts out on our roads after 12 midnight
12 Midnight – ALL CAMPFIRES FULLY EXTINGUISHED!

There is no parking at the boat launch area. Vehicles and boat trailers must be returned to your site or parked in our field while you are out on the water. Never park in an empty site.

Will meet to discuss: THE PILOT’S WIFE by Anita Shreve. The Book Group meets every month. All readers are invited to join in.

Crafts for All Ages at reasonable prices.
Wooden items to paint and decorate, beads, gimp, decorate a hair clip or a foam visor. Lots of project for all ages.
Children under age 7 must be with an adult. Thank you.
1 PM — SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR SEASONAL YOUNG FOLK
First meeting of Bowdish Lake’s THEATRE IN THE WOODS
– Safari Rec Hall – Led by Camper Don Lambert and Crew
Weekly meetings & rehearsals all season. Production at Season’s end. All Seasonal Campers welcome.
5 PM — CHILDRENS’ HAY WAGON RIDES
Pick-up and drop-off at Safari Field. Parents, do not allow your child to ride unless you are certain he/she will remain seated. Parents are invited to ride.
7:30 PM — FREE PRIZE BINGO

8:00 – 10 PM – BEACH REC HALL OPEN – Games & Snack Bar

5 PM — CHECK-OUT TIME — Please wrap all trash & place inside a dumpster. Please do not pile trash bags in front of the dumpster. Do not leave other than daily camping trash at our dumpsters. We appreciate it when you leave your site as neat as you found it. Thank you.
